Chosen Aquatics LLC (“Chosen Aquatics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit chosenaquatics.com, contact us, request an estimate, or use our pool construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance services.
1. Information we collect
You may provide your name, email address, phone number, city or ZIP code, service address, requested service, planning budget, project details, photos, and other information you choose to share. If you become a customer, we may also maintain estimates, agreements, scheduling details, service records, invoices, payment status, and related communications.
Our website hosting providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and access times, to deliver and secure the website.
2. How the website inquiry form works
The “Prepare My Inquiry” form assembles your information in your browser and opens your email application with a draft message. Completing the form does not automatically send your inquiry to us. We receive it when you send the email or contact us another way. Your email provider handles the draft and message under its own privacy practices. Please do not include payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information in this form or in ordinary email.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, discuss project options, and prepare estimates.
- Schedule and provide services, coordinate work, and communicate project updates.
- Manage customer records, agreements, invoices, payments, and service questions.
- Operate and protect our website and business, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
- Send marketing communications when permitted by law and consistent with your preferences.
We seek permission before using identifiable customer project photos or testimonials in our marketing.
4. When information is shared
We may share the information needed to provide our services with providers that support website hosting, email and communications, scheduling, billing, and payment processing. We use Skimmer for scheduling and billing. These providers may process contact details, service information, and transaction records as needed for their roles. Payment information entered into a provider’s payment system is handled through that provider; this website does not collect payment card details.
We may share relevant contact, property, and project information with contractors or other service partners involved in your requested work. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, resolve disputes, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not sell or rent customer contact information to third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies, analytics, and external links
The current website does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts, and its inquiry form does not use cookies or browser storage to save your entries. Hosting infrastructure may use technical logs or essential technologies to deliver the site and protect against abuse. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Links to Google reviews, social media, or other external services take you to services with their own privacy policies. Their information practices apply when you use those services. We will update this policy if our website’s information practices change materially.
6. Email, calls, and text messages
When you contact us or request service, we may respond using the contact information you provide. Providing a phone number through an inquiry is not, by itself, consent to automated marketing texts. You can ask us to stop marketing communications by emailing or calling us, or using an unsubscribe option where provided. If you receive marketing texts from us, you may reply STOP to opt out or contact us directly. We may still send necessary communications about ongoing services, billing, or your requests.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle inquiries, provide services, maintain business and financial records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the information and the purpose for which it is held. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by contacting us through the same email address or phone number and identifying your request as a “Privacy Appeal.” We will explain our decision. You may also contact the Texas Attorney General about a privacy concern.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are directed to adults arranging pool services, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The revised policy will appear on this page with an updated effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
